Company Development History
June 2009 Established Four Stars Engineering Systems GmbH and set up our first office in Hünstetten, Germany, providing professional engineering services for flying probe tester (FPT) partners worldwide.
August 2011 Entered into Technical Cooperation Agreement with Shenzhen Micronic Technology Co., Ltd.
July 2013 Due to company expansion moved office locations to Bad Camberg, Germany.
November 2013 Mr. Chris Zimmermann joined FourStars-ES in the position of Production and Service Manager.
November 2016 Due to expanding Production and Storage requirements moved to a larger office location in Bad Camberg, Germany.
January 2022 Dr. Xuhui Li joined FourStars-ES in the position of Research and Development Engineer.
Product Development History
Many of the following milestones were reached with close cooperation between FourStars-ES and our strategic technology partner Shenzhen Micronic Technology Co., Ltd. (Micronic)
2010 Launched the ProbeStar Software to support existing installed base of Mania Technolgie AG FPT systems and Evolution Series FPT systems manufactured by Micronic.
2011 Introduced electronics and mechanical probe assemblies for 4-wire low-resistance testing (Kelvin).
2012 Introduced the multi-function ultra-high-speed flying probe tester EVO8 developed in partnership with Micronic.
2015 Introduced 10GΩ high insulation testing.
2016 Introduced HiPot Test.
2016-2018 Developed and introduced the fully automatic Dual Sided Automation roboStar.
2019 - 2022 In partnership with Micronic, developed and introduced the new OctaStar Software used to drive the world's first vertical full-size 8-probe FPT system, Innovation 8H.
2024 Extended the ProbeStar and OctaStar software applications to support the new MK series of high-speed multi-function flying probe testers developed by Micronic.
2024-2025 Developed and launched an integrated MES system in all Micronic Flying Probe Tester systems.
2024-2025 Developed and introduced Voltage Drop Detection (VDD) commonly referred to as “Spark Testing”
